| Oi, I've been terrible at keeping this thing updated...
Sorry everyone ;_;
And J, I hope you're doing okay, bud. Haven't heard from you in a while...hope to catch you online sometime soon. And I'm sorry I haven't been in better communication :(
Will do my best for a real update.
Take care everyone...

| Hey everyone - sorry I've been lax at updating the Xanga. Things are going pretty well, for the most part. Dealing with my allergies again...oi. I think part of it might be a cold too but it's hard to tell this time of year.
Had the CAP Vol. spring retreat Thurs. night - Sat. afternoon. It was a pretty good time; always a chance to hang out w. everyone else and just get away for a while. Unfortunately, I've gotten my fair share of mosquito bites >.< - someone tell me how you manage to get bit around the earpiece of your glasses o.O. They itch and it really stinks...guess I'm just sweet, ne? XD
Attempting to do my laundry so I don't have to worry about it later. Church in a little while and then Annie and I are hopefully going to go to K-Mart. She needs a Mother's Day card and I need more Claritin (and maybe a few other things).
Oh yes...and what I'm currently watching is the best movie I have seen in a verrrrry long time! (courtesy of the bestest friend I think I've ever had *^^*)
Take care everyone...will try to be more dilligent in posting.

| Today really seemed to fly by!
*Woke about around 9:55am. Oops...the one day I try to sleep in and figure I'll be awake at 8:30 to get ready for church, ha ha :P. But thankfully I wasn't running too late.
*For some reason, I had this headache and was soo tired during church. I couldn't figure it out...
*Came back to the house, grabbed some lunch, and tried to read a little but it just wasn't working. So I crawled into bed around 3:00 and slept until 5:30. Oi. That never happens unless I'm really tired. But I ended up feeling better.
*Ate some Easy Mac w. Annie and watched a little TV. There's a group in for the week, mostly older ppl, but they're really pleasant. They've been here before - the one fellow (his name is Harold) has been here 7 times, which is pretty cool. And he knows how to do handwriting analysis! He had me write my name and some stuff on a piece of paper and then analyzed it. Soo...what he told me was:
1. My mom was more of an influence on me than my dad (which is very true). 2. I'm either good at singing or doing crafts (crafts more than singing...well...) 3. That I'm a very positive person XD 4. That I'm a little dissatisfied w. a goal right now (wow, that's not far from the truth...) 5. That I'm very friendly ^^ 6. I get headaches *lol* (ooh yes...)
It was really fun - I've never had someone analyze my handwriting before. Heh, and truly, he was on the mark.
Ah, well...it was a relaxing weekend for once. I'm kinda glad it was, but that just means I have to do my laundry tomorrow night *lol* XD
Hope you all are well - take care and have a great week! Until the next random scribblings, *hugs*

| Sheesh, I can't believe it's almost 9:30. I'd say where did the day go, but I know that it went into some well-deserved relaxing. Barb and I went to the post office in Paintsville then over to this flea market off Route 23. It was a good time; I found a copy of a Calvin and Hobbes book for $.50 (a good deal but why sell a classic like Calvin and Hobbes? *lol*).
Had an enjoyable conversation w. Dom, then called home. Mom was home, so we talked for a little bit. Yesterday was her and my dad's anniversary; I think they've been married either 28 or 29 years. Wow. That's impressive (and should give us all hope!). She said that Dad came to the office on Friday while she was doing a pacemaker check and brought her this huge bouquet of flowers - daisies, lilies, and roses. Then they went out for wings for dinner *hee hee*. Dad's still kinda tired from some traveling he's had to do in the past few weeks, but she said that they had a great evening. Which is good - sometimes I think that they don't get many evenings like that.
Thankfully today was pretty peaceful. Church tomorrow and maybe I should do some white wash. The only thing of any real major importance is the spring volunteer retreat at Camp Shawnee this coming Thurs - Sat. It's a good time but Shawnee's kinda in the middle of the mountains and there's not too much to do in the evenings. Hopefully it'll be like last year, where we just get some time to just relax and catch up w. one another. With all luck, the weather will be good.
Welp, me thinks I'm gonna poke around on the 'net for a few more minutes and then go relax before bed. Heh, I know, it's kinda odd to turn in early on a Saturday night, but I'm finding more sleep is a good thing.
Have a good night, my friends... *hugs* always | | |
| After dealing w. nine hyperactive preschoolers who couldn't go outside today b/c it was wet, Were loud and rowdy, Didn't want to listen, And were only quiet when it was naptime...
I feel like I've lost the rest of my mind.
Peace...and...quiet...oi...
...is forthcoming tonight...I hope.
And just in time to get appreciated tomorrow XD
Hope everyone's doing well...take care and have a great night. More from my corner of the world soon.
*hugs*
